ENCORE Urban Development, Ella Ribbon Cutting

VoltAir partnered with the City of Tampa Housing Authority on its multi-family, urban residential development built on a 28-acre site. This project marks the rebirth of one of Tampa’s historic neighborhoods, located adjacent to downtown and in a low-income region, which had fallen on hard times over the past decades. To date, over 440 residential units, in three multistory buildings have been built. VoltAir has been a proud supporter of this important project since it’s inception. At the ribbon cutting of the first phase, the “Ella Building” (named after the musician Ella Fitzgerald) in December 2012, Julius Davis served as a keynote speaker.
