Julius D. Davis, PE, LEED® AP, MBA is President and CEO of VoltAir, Inc. He is a native of Tampa, Florida, and attended the University of South Florida where he majored in Electrical Engineering. Following graduation in 1993, Julius accepted a graduate-level engineering position with a firm in Tallahassee, Florida, and excelled rapidly in his career. He became a Project Manager and Associate in less than 10 years. He relocated back to his hometown of Tampa in 2003 and founded VoltAir Consulting Engineers, Inc. in 2006.

VoltAir Consulting Engineers is a privately owned corporation that provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design services with offices in Tampa, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Atlanta and Nashville. Julius has more than 26 years of experience in engineering services for a variety of building types, including airports, hospitals, schools, office buildings, industrial facilities and many other industries.

In 2014, Julius received his MBA at the University of South Florida. He continues to be actively involved in the community; he has served or is currently serving on the Florida Advisory Council, Florida SBDC Advisory Board, Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, USF College of Engineering Advisory – Board Chair, USF Foundation Board, Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation, Hillsborough Community College Foundation, First Baptist Church of College Hill – Trustee Chair, YMCA Advisory Board, Tampa Preparatory Board and City of Tampa Planning Arts Committee. He is also an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. In addition, Julius was appointed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to the Board of Directors for Enterprise Florida, Inc., Space Florida and is currently a Commissioner for the Florida Department of Transportation.

Julius is the proud father of three children, a firm believer in developing strong relationships, and enjoys traveling and golfing.
