Project Description

New Central Energy Plant to support the 36,424-SF Science & Technology Building. CEP included: 540-ton air cooled central chiller plant serving the new classroom building containing 100% outside air variable air volume laboratory air systems. Configuration has three 180-ton high efficiency screw compressor chillers in a parallel variable-primary system with redundant variable speed CHW primary pumps providing variable flow CHW to airside systems.

The Science & Technology Building was awarded LEED Gold Certification.
