Project Description
Upgrades and redesign of the existing baseball field, and designing a new baseball complex using creative and cost efficient state-of-the-art technology to provide renewable energy and creating a sustainable facility to house 50 athletes, 20 coaching staff members, and 500 spectators. Energy modeling was utilized to optimize the complex overall cost and performance.
The complex consisted of a 5,300-SF home/varsity team facility with a 700-SF locker room, team shower/restroom area, training room, conference room, coach office, locker, and private restroom, athletic and field storage rooms, uniform laundry room, and spectator’s men’s and women’s restrooms; visitor/junior varsity team facility with a 615-SF team locker room, coaches locker room, restroom, and general storage; concession, press box, grandstand seating and sports field lighting designed for high standard IES recommendations at 50/30 (infield/outfield) foot candles.
