Project Description
The design and construction of this project was executed in phases in order to maintain the continued 24/7 operation of both red and blue sides of the baggage claim. The project consisted of an east end expansion of the baggage claim level. The expansion included new baggage claim devices along with additional pair of public restrooms, relocated airline baggage claim service offices, additional circulation space, and replacement of all 17 existing baggage claim devices and associated equipment and controls. The project also consisted of providing new signage and modifications to existing, replace entire existing lighting system over baggage claim devices to improve area illumination by using new creative state-of-the-art and energy efficient light fixtures/ 20,000-SF expanded area.
